i have these words
just neatly set aside
waiting to be spoken
but you won't give me a chance to speak.
and i have this ache
it's that flutter in my chest
that makes breathing strange.
i know you don't mean harm
but that's already forgotten.
i just need to correct what i've done wrong.

so go ahead and hurt me,
if you'll feel better in the end.
